I am so glad you flew back home.

On another note, you are profound with your words and style of writing. Its just beyond belief how you see things we all take for granted or with which we just go through the motions.

You are a good man!

What a trying trip, Jonathan. I hate that for you. We are dealing with a parent exhibiting early signs (and some not-so-early signs) of dementia as well, and it is horrible. A co-worker of mine with a parent in the late stages of Alzheimer's however, says that some day we'll look back on this frustration and wish for such a good day. Hard to believe, but she'd know.
I'll take your word for it on the gay scene here, but I have to disagree on the cost of living. When I moved back here from ATL it was like I got a HUGE raise. Housing was about half what it was there, and property taxes about a third. Plus the benefit of being able to live in a great neighborhood just a mile from the office. Can't beat it!
Hang in there in dealing with all this mess, buddy. Best of luck...

We have both talked alot since you posted this (and I read it) so I'm not going to delve into the deep things which you approached here. I wanted to repeat to you how glad I am you are here and getting things "taken care of" to allow your LIFE (not death) to move forward.

I am thankful each day for all you add to my world. I am also always impressed with the greatness and kindness you share with me and the rest of the world.

You are a wonderment, sir!

I always wanted to write in my site something like that. Can I take part of your post to my blog?
Of course, I will add backlink?

I know you, Jonathan, and I know your Mom Iris. You really absorb the details of your interactions, I must say. Fortunately, some time has passed since you wrote this and I believe she is now much more fervent than at that time.

Keep observing, oh smart one! We learn, grow, and reflect on ourselves through your enlightening and magnificent presentation of words.
