About
This is the continuation of, and often the respository for, my long running and now cancelled (and unsearchable, it would appear) blog on Poz.com.
I try to post my blogs on Facebook and Myspace as well, but asie from those places, this is basically where I hang my writing hat for the moment. Thanks to my amazing Aussie friend Matty for doing this for me. Also, thanks to the few people who actually followed me here.
I’m a 43 year old living in Smyrna Ga. I own more Star Trek uniforms than dress pants. I have three ferrets, a one bedroom apartment, great friends, a passion for cooking and for my online Dungeons and Dragons, and my ongoing good but stressful relationship with Mom.
I talk to my ferrets like they were people. They stare at me, then lick my nose and scamper off. Same thing happens when I talk to my friends, so I must be getting through.
I have HIV. I often take pills for it. They make me far less dead than I used to be. For now, I am happy with that arrangement. My meds retail for roughly three thousand dollars US a month, so I feel obligated to put in that much to the karmic wheel. Sometimes I succeed. Other times I overextend myself and end up eating Spaghetti-Os out of a can for a week. Which, come to think of it, is it’s own karma.
Thanks for reading. If you got this far, I owe you a martini.
